Mike Lujan - Assistant Varsity Coach (7th season)

Mike Lujan returns to the Cypress baseball program to assist with the varsity this season. Mike coached last season and previously was at Cypress from 2004-2008 taking on stints as the JV head coach and varsity assistant. Prior to coaching at Cypress, Mike worked and coached at Paramount High School for several years. Coach was an outfielder at Cerritos College and Azusa Pacific back in his playing days. Coach Lujan will primarily work with the outfielders. In addition to coaching baseball on campus, coach works with the freshman football team. Following 10 years of teaching at Lexington, he is now teaching Special Education at Cypress. Coach lives in Long Beach with his wife, Lisa, and their two boys, Antonio and Cruz.
